How positively confident are you that you can do this and that? Have you ever questioned yourself if you can do things correctly?
Hmmmmm. Self-question right?
Through my years of experience, I’ve done a lot of research on the beneficial outcomes of being positive and the negative effects of being negative. It truly pays to be optimistic and the advantages of being one include improved well-being and happiness, finding professional success, financial success, and etc.
Being positively sure about yourself is not just a good way to live—it’s the best way to live.
Benefits of Positive Thinking:
Positive attracts positive events – If you want to become optimistic/positive, you need to start positive thinking right away! There’s what we called the “law of attraction” that means “like attracts like.” This belief was based on the idea that people and their thoughts were both made from “pure energy,” and “like energy” attracts “like energy.” That’s why seeing your life perceptive in a positive way will surely attract positivity.
With the new day comes new strength and new thoughts. – Eleanor Roosevelt
A boost of motivation – Positive attitude will help your motivation and you will begin to achieve your goals faster and simpler.
To have strong motivation is the same as to have “wings”
Acting positive – Because your mind was set in a “positive mode,” you’ll start believing in yourself and start to act positively: from “I can’t do this” to “I can do this.” This will be a good start to boost your confidence.
You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream. – C. S. Lewis
Healthy Life – Positive thinking is very important for your health. According to Mayo Clinic, positive thinking has the following benefits:
- Increased life span
- Lower rates of depression
- Lower levels of distress
- Greater resistance to the common cold
- Better psychological and physical well-being
- Reduced risk of death from cardiovascular disease
- Better coping skills during hardships and times of stress
Key to success – Positive people are individuals that are more fruitful than the negative ones. When you actualize positive thinking in your life, you will notice that achievement gets less demanding and it’s not as extreme and troublesome as many people think.
Lastly, an effective formula for avoiding negative thinking is that for every negative thought you have, think of three positive thoughts you are grateful for.
In addition, positive thinking doesn’t mean you need to ignore life’s unpleasant situations. Positive thinking just means that you approach unpleasantness in a more positive and productive way. You think the best is going to happen, not the worst.
